Porsche 911 Launch
2012 Orange County, CA
The 911 is the model that defines the identity of Porsche, and the launch of the all-new 911 in 2012 required an event unlike any other. Além planned every aspect of the six-week program, based in Southern California at the Pelican Hill Resort. The program brought in nine waves of Sales and Service Personnel from Porsche dealerships across the U.S., with 900 total participants. Porsche’s heritage is written on the track, so naturally Além created a track environment at the Orange County Great Park in El Toro where attendees could test not only the new 911 but competitive vehicles as well. The set-up at El Toro included a tent village for classrooms, local food trucks that served inspired, creative lunches every day and a garage area for the 70 vehicles. Finally, just as Porsche revamped the 911, Além revamped the traditional model of training, introducing Porsche’s first-ever 100% paperless training program, as all training was iPad-based featuring the innovative “iTrainer” application.
